Yanahuara -Arequipa

A district in the city of Arequipa, Yanahuara is famous for its popular lookout point, the “Mirador de Yanahuara”, built in the nineteenth century. It attracts many visitors that enjoy the impressive panoramic view of the city and the beautiful yet fearsome background of volcanoes. The suburb includes many sillar-built houses and some nice churches of the Spanish-colonial period. Yanahuara lies some 2km from downtown Arequipa.
