A slice of a traditional English pub in the Plaza de Armas, Cross Keys is probably the city's most celebrated bar. Open since 1986, long before Cusco experimented the current tourist boom, this pub -decorated with autographed posters, football memorabilia, and tons of photographs and postcards- has a nice view of the cathedral from its colonial balcony. You can play darts or pool, watch English sports on cable TV, or simply chat around and have a drink. The menu includes burgers, pizzas, and curry snacks; they also serve a full English breakfast and delightful coffees and hot chocolate. There are two happy hours: from 6pm to 7pm and from 9 to 9.30pm. The place is owned by versatile Barry Walker, who is also an expert ornithologist, let alone owner of Manu Expeditions and British consul in Cusco. Open from 10 am to 2 am Credit V Price for appetizer and 2 drinks S/. 30, only 2 drinks S/. 18 Go back to Bars & Pubs in Cusco. |
