Taking its name from a German school of thought that theorized the integration of art and technology for the benefit of both, Bauhaus has since its launching been at the forefront of electronic music. They were the first Lima club to concentrate on those bands -Depeche Mode, Alphaville or The Cure- that were at the origins of this music genre, and to use image projectors for a real audiovisual experience.

Always keen to promote alternative music genres ignored by the mass media, the club is frequented by a faithful bunch that enjoys raving until dawn. Although the admission fee depends on the event, it rarely exceeds $6.
