Miraflores Neighbourhood in Lima

Miraflores -together with Barranco and, to a lesser extent, San Isidro- is the pulsing heart of town. Most of Lima's best restaurants and hotels are found here, as well as many bars, clubs, and shops.

The district is next to the ocean, and indeed benefits from some of the best views in town. Its many beaches -collectively known as the Costa Verde- are popular among surfers year round, and the destination of thousands of limeños during the summer.
