Famous for it's remarkable pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven, this is one of the best Italian trattorias in the city. Besides their pizzas and a wide variety of Italian salami, they also have great risottos, ossobuco with polenta (a Milanese classic), seafood-filled ravioli, and grilled meats and fish. And, as couldn't be otherwise in a self-respected trattoria, desserts include tiramisu and panna cotta. The relaxed mood, together with the wood-beamed ceilings, simple chairs, and long wood tables, recreate the pleasant atmosphere that you can find in rustic a Italian tavern. They have another restaurant in the bohemian Barranco district (San Martín 201), ideal to start the night before heading towards the many bars that swarm around the district's main square.
