This traditional silverware manufacturer was founded in 1933 by an Italian immigrant, Carlo Mario Camusso. By combining the millenary tradition of Peruvian silver craftsmanship with refined European techniques, he managed to transform his small factory into a renowned company, which today produces some 3,600 different objects, from cutlery and tea sets to cigarette boxes and cocktail shakers. Expect elegant and classic silverware, with prices rather on the expensive side.

You can arrange a free tour of the factory, just call them at 425-0260/65 to schedule a visit (Av. Oscar R. Benavides 679, Lima centre, Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm). Other stores within Swissotel and El Pardo hotels, and Ripley department store (Jockey Plaza).
