The Mausoleum at Machu Picchu

 The enormous, leaning stone block bearing part of the Temple of the Sun forms a grotto that was skillfully decorated for its use as a mausoleum. Here the Incas worshipped and made offerings to the mummies of the main officers. At the entrance you see a depiction of the earth goddess's stair step symbol.
