The Street of the Fountains at Machu Picchu

 This street is located towards the south, between the Temple of the Sun and the Royal Palace. It’s name comes from the water springs found here, which locals call them "Paqchas".

The water in these fountains or ponds comes from a spring located half a mile (1 km) away, and which keeps the water flowing through different levels.
