This popular hotel on Aguas Calientes is part of the mini-chain that comprises Hostal Machu Picchu and Hostal Continental, the three of them standing on the same Imperio de los Incas avenue, the main in town. This can be quite convenient when booking, as chances to get a room are higher.

Rooms are clean and spacious, though furnished meagrely, with those on the main street being pretty noisy. Much better the back rooms, overlooking the Vilcanota River: besides the nice view, you get the soothing sounds of the river rushing down the Andes. All rooms have a private bath, phone, and TV.

The staff is (sometimes) friendly, breakfast could be much better. Additional services include restaurant and bar, international and national dial up telephones, fax, luggage storage, and laundry. Alas, no Internet for the time being.
